Retreats at Creative Pursuits

Sometimes you just need a little time away with your project, your machine, and people who understand why fabric, thread, yarn, and handwork matter.

At Creative Pursuits Quilting & More, our retreats are designed to give makers a welcoming space to settle in, make progress, and enjoy time with a creative community. We host retreats almost every month, with options for quilters, sewists, and handwork makers.

Our retreat space can welcome up to 45 participants between our upstairs and downstairs areas. Shared cutting tables and ironing stations are available, and we also have a separate eating space so you can take a comfortable break without packing up your project.

Retreat Options

Our full retreat experience includes dedicated sewing time, catering from local vendors, door prizes, and demos. It is a great choice if you enjoy a little extra fun and inspiration mixed in with your project time.

This one is all about sewing. No food, no prizes, no demos. Just bring your project, set up your space, and enjoy uninterrupted time to sew.

Best for: Makers who want simple, focused sewing time.

A retreat for handwork lovers. This retreat includes a light catered lunch, door prizes, and demos, but projects are handwork only. Bring your stitching, knitting, crochet, embroidery, binding, applique, or another portable project and enjoy a slower-paced creative day.

Best for: Handwork makers who enjoy community, learning, and a relaxed retreat setting.

Simple, quiet handwork time. No food, no prizes, no demos. Just bring your handwork project and enjoy time to sit, stitch, and make alongside others.

Best for: Handwork makers who want a focused, low-key retreat.
